Centring an image

    Hi all

    Fairly new to WP and very new to Elementor. I am trying to centre an image but what ever setting a change to centre/middle I cant get the image to centre unless I increase the margin to push the image over which I assume is not the correct way.

    You should probably give more information about where you are inserting the image, as there are different possibilities and techniques for centering. Also, I presume you are referring to horizontal centering, not vertical centering.
    If you have inserted an image element directly into the column of a section, then Image -> Content -> Alignment should work.
    If you have inserted an image via the Media button into a text element, then click on the image within the Text editor and select the alignment (and wrap) you want from the toolbar that opens.
    Since all this is very straight-forward, I suspect you have something else going on. Provide details.

    Josiah your a star, non of the options worked for me but when you mentioned there are different way if gave me the prod I needed to look for other methods. I finally hit on inserting an image box rather than just an image, and this seems to work perfectly. Many thanks
