• For the last couple of days I am searching for an answer related to the fact that I am unnable to generate a Facebook link preview. I came across several resources and tried to understand all the details on the Sharing Debugger. I even disabled some plugins and options that might be related (for example Yoast). The Sharing Debugger Tool from Facebook tells me that it “Could Not Connect To Server”. So searching for informations some similar topics are stating that a security plugin could block Facebook to properly acces the website.

I am not sure if Cerber has to do with it but it might be helpful to know if there is someting related to the situation.

I am actually trying to eliminate each posibility so I can get to the bottom of it.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Yes, a security plugin can block Facebook if it generates suspicious requests. This is what a security plugin is created for. There are no excuses for Facebook or any other external service. Anyway, if you suspect that WP Cerber blocks some requests, disable Traffic Inspector, and the anti-spam engine for a while, perform test requests and see the results.

I’ve never seen that WP Cerber blocks Facebook’s Sharing Debugger. It’s not possible.
