Certain pages do not load when plugin is activate.

    Hello
    I have had an issue for about a month now if I activate the plugin my home page does not load but other pages do. I’m currently on WordPress 5.1.1 running Salient Child Theme with WooCommerce 3.5.6

    I have looked at the support forum and have seen other users are having similar issues (@freeemulator @oggidm). Their issue topic (Homepage no longer loads but everything else does) is marked as resolved but does not fully solve the problem as it looks like part of the page pulling in products was the root cause of the issue.

    With what @freeemulator found out, I have managed to narrow it down a bit further. The issue occurs on pages built with “WPBakery Page Builder” using the “WooCommerce Products” Element that has the “Enable Pagination” option un-ticked. I also tested this with a blank page with just this element and option un-ticked and it also failed to load.

    Thank you again to @freeemulator posts for guiding me in the right direction but unfortunately this is about as far as my technical abilities can go with this, but I hope info above can be used to help resolve this in a future update as we really like the plugin when it is fully operational. Any other help or guidance would be much appreciated.

    I was able to narrow it down to when I add the Visual Composer ‘Product Module’ as well. I changed the module to use the Visual Composer ‘Woo Featured Products’ module and that fixed the problem for me.

    The only downside is that the Woo module doesn’t have all the capabilities, like narrowing my featured products by category.

    I will also try the Woo Featured Products to see about getting the products to pull in properly.

    I can confirm that the update has resolved the issue and my brands and carousel on the home page are working again ????
