    The first results the Geocode API returns is in the UK, not Australia.

    This happens even with the region set to Australia, but to fix situations like this I added support for the geocode component filter in the upcoming 2.1 update. This allows you to 100% restrict the returned results by country / state / city by using the wpsl_geocode_components filter that will be available in 2.1.

    I will get back to you with a code example how to fix this once 2.1 is out, which is really soon. I’m just waiting for some feedback from other users on some of the code changes I made.

    If you update to 2.1 and enable the “Restrict the geocoding results to the selected map region?” on the settings page, then the problem should be gone.

    Took me a little while to get around to (due to the holidays) but I’ve just updated the plugin and ticked that box and the “Welshpool” issue described above is fixed.
