• When you click the “Download Certificate” link at the end of the quiz for a second time, you end up getting directed to the following link (which throws a 404):

    /wp-content/plugins/quiz-master-next/includes/certificates/mlw_qmn_quiz2014051218070196.php

I realize that you shouldn’t need to click the link twice, but the client we implemented this for asked about it. I tested it, downloaded it just fine on the first click, got the link the second time, as they said. Is there a way to let users download as many times as they want?

  • Greetings jskow0918:

Thank you for choosing to use this plugin! I’m sorry that I have not responded sooner. I somehow missed your post when going through the others.

I had originally made it to delete the certificate after accessing it. I had designed it this way to prevent the server from being filled with certificates.

I can walk your through the easy task of taking out the line of code that makes it delete itself. If not, let me take a look and see if I can come up with a way to make them time sensitive or have some sort of cleaner service perhaps…

    Best Regards

    Frank

Hi, thanks for the plugin. I have the same thing happen when trying to download the certificate for a second time. (404 and a link to the plugin folder).

Could you show me how to delete that one line of code you mentioned so if you click to download the certificate more then once you would be able to.

    Thanks

    Quoted your great words ??

Usually this kind of service has the certificate download also in the email…
You can give to link link a time expire a time of 30 minute (i.e.)… plus probably you can set the file to be downloaded a max of 3 time in total ( i.e.) to prevent any kind of server flood coming from someone with bad intention ?

    What do you think?

    Hi Frank,

Can you please share the line of code you referred to above? Thanks.
