cf 7 does not work after wp update to version 5.4.2

  • CF 7 always worked fine for me.
    Last Tuesday I have updated wp to version 5.4.2 and added 3 plugins
    Ultimate member, inactive user logout and elementor
    At this moment CF7 shows a message that the form is sent sucessfully, but the form never arrives in my inbox.
    Is this a conflict with the update I did? or conflict with the new installed plugins? I did deactivate them, but had no change.
    Can you point me in the right direction to get it working again.

    Where can we see the website in question?

    After updating to v5.2 I’m not receiving any emails, too, but I get a message that everything was working successfully. Is there any possibility to enable logging?

    I just wanted to say that I just received all of my test messages. I guess my webhosting provider has been holding them back. Thanks!

    The site in question is themagictouch.net, but it is an members only site. Please send me your credentials and I will create an account for you.
    In the meantime I have downgraded to wp 4.9.15 and CF7 5.1.1 and still have the same problem.

    I deactivated most plugins, no result
    I used the twenty twenty theme, no result
    I deleted the contact form 7 plugin and reinstalled it, no result
    I used easy wp smtp, tested it and received and email, but it does not function with contact form 7
    I really have no idea what I can do to get the forms working again.
