    hello,

I have followed the instructions for WP Rocket and activated SPCC but the value is still CF-Cache-Status DYNAMIC. I tried several times with no luck, what can I do to troubleshoot?

    Appreciate the help. Thanks

    Hi,
as you have not shared your website URL, it makes things impossible to understand what’s going on. Can you please share your site URL so that I can take a look at the headers to see what’s going on…?

I found out what the problem was: there was an additional Cache rule in Cloudflare. Thanks!

Hi @isaumya – After 5 months of working as expected the other day the cache stopped working and CF-Cache-Status is DYNAMIC – can you check please what could be wrong? here’s the site https://bit.ly/42E9VPk

    Hi @sozialia,
Can you please send me a screenshot of the “Page Rule” section from your Cloudflare Dashboard? Also, if you are using “Cache Rules”, do share the screenshot of them as well. Moreover, please also purge the entire cache (basically purge everything) from Cloudflare Dashboard or from the plugin settings.

Hi @isaumya here’s the screenshot from the page rule section https://tinyurl.com/2zsb2kel where the blackened part if the domain name

I don’t have any Cache Rules activated.

I have though activated Cloudflare CDN through Cloudways, but that was done after SPCC stopped working to mitigate the traffic I was receiving. Let me know if that’s an issue while troubleshooting.

    Thank you!

Please disable the Cloudflare integration through Cloudways, because if you are using their Cloudflare Enterprise system, changes in your account won’t be implemented in your website. Let me know when you have disabled all CF integration through your host.

@isaumya That worked! Strange because It wasn’t working when I tried to troubleshoot it, hence I had to activate Cloudflare through Cloudways.

Is there a way to receive a notification if the page cache is not working?

    Thank you for your help!!

    Hi @sozialia,
Unfortunately, there is no notification for that. But I would suggest you to check your website occasionally to see if everything is alright.

Moreover if you haven’t already, I will highly recommend you to take advantage of the Cache Rules with this plugin (especially if you are using the latest version of the plugin), as when used it alongside of Smart Tiered Cache (which I hope you have already enabled in your CF dashboard), you will get the best performance. Also no more cache buster. Please check the guide here: https://gist.github.com/isaumya/af10e4855ac83156cc210b7148135fa2

Finally, I would also suggest you to do the following:

    1. Disable instant page preloader from Perfmatter plugin. (Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/pS90LEF.jpeg)
    2. As you are not running an eCommerce site, inside this plugin settings > others tab enable the Auto prefetch URLs in viewport and Auto prefetch URLs on mouse hover options. (Screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/s5AgPHI.jpeg)

    Hope this helps. ??

Hi @isaumya – Just wanted to let you know that I have applied all the recommendations and followed the instructions in the link provided. Thank you!

just a note, the settings in CF have changed from the screenshot you have in the github -> https://tinyurl.com/2qn8xlx4

    Hi @sozialia,
yes that’s a new option. If you are not using plugins like EDD which must need the query string order not to be changed, you can actually enable that option. I personally keep it enable in non eCommerce sites and for eCommerce sites, I would tests things thoroughly if that query string sort option is enabled.
