I just logged in to cloudflare today and I was prompted with a “<strong class=””>Page Rules are deprecated. You should consider alternative?Rules?options due to their enhanced configurability. Refer to?the migration guide?for details.”.

I guess this plugin needs to be updated ASAP.

Since that might take some time, would adding the cache everything rule in the “Cache Rules” page would have the same effect?

  • Okay, thanks for the information.

As everything is working fine, I’ll stay with the existing setup of 4 cache rules and one page rule.

I will wait for your update and then see how it goes.

You don’t need the 4 cache rule. You just need to have 1 cache rule. The other 3 cache rules can be removed. Also you can disable the page rule.

Yes, I tried that, and all looked fine.

But that’s when I ran into the problem of my Ninja forms not loading for non-logged in users.

The only way around it I found was to remove the contact page from caching. Not the best solution.

But with the old rules and setup, the forms load perfectly.

Any ideas why this would occur?

It seems like Ninja form is using nonce which is getting expired after 10 hours or so causing the issue.

I would suggest switch to WS Forms, the best form plugin I’ve used for WordPress and plays really well with caching.

    Okay. I’ll investigate the option.

I’ve reactivated the new one cahce rule, and all seems fine now.

The Ninja contact form is now loading correctly.

I’m not sure why, but I purged the cache a few times, and then everyting was fine.

I’ll monitor it for a few days before making the change to my main site.

But for now, all is good.

Yah! If it’s a nonce issue then everything will work fine after cache purge then after about 10-12 hrs when nonce expires the form will stop working.

    Yah! Keep an eye out.

After more than 24 hours, all is still fine.

But just as a check, is the new one cache rule the same as the previous four, but simply combined?

As far as I can tell, all the elements look the same.

That’s really great news then. ??
