We are all trying to improve our page load speeds all the time. One thing that keeps coming up when I use Google PageSpeed tools with my site running CF 7 is that ‘/wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/css/styles.css?ver=5.0.1’ is listed as “render-blocking css”, no matter what page of my site I load.

Is it really necessary for CF to enqueue its styles even when the contact form is not being displayed? I only have a contact form on ONE page, and my site has millions of pages.

Could the developer consider changing this in a future version so that styles are only enqueued when they are actually needed? I could do this myself but obviously I don’t want to have to do it again after each plugin update.

    Thanks,

    Mark
