CF7 4.8.1 not working with multistep contact form

Hello,
4.8.1 and I am using CF7 and contact form 7 Multi-step module (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/contact-form-7-multi-step-module/) but I am getting error while submitting the form either blank or filled.

PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_status() on null in …/plugins/contact-form-7/includes/contact-form.php on line 656

How can I resolve these?
