CF7 / Captcha on subdomain

Greetings,
I have a site that uses multiple sub-domains. On non WWW subdomains the captcha breaks – the img src points to the absolute URL which has the WWW subdomain.
I’d like to hack the captcha URL to use the subdomain.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on this ?
