CF7 date formatting is incorrect

The date formatting in CF7 is determined by the browser, so most new browsers will show the date as YYYY/MM/DD in your date picker field, but if you’re in the UK this is incorrect, and it should be DD/MM/YYYY. Is there a way to change this format? or is there a way to change the date formatting inside Salesforce. Our web2case entries are showing the date as YYYY/MM/DD.
