CF7 didn’t sent if REST API is blocked for anonymous user

  • Since over 1 month the update to CF7 4.8 is available. But it can’t be used as it needs to open the REST API for any anonymous user. Is there any update available to resolve this?

    There are several security problems with REST API enabled for everyone.

  • I must say this is a very frustrating issue. We widely use Contact Form 7 on dozens of sites; the vast majority we have disabled the Rest API for reasons noted by sirector. Any solution in the mix?

    New Version 4.8.1 is online but did not resolve the problem. Is there any timeline to “fix that bug”?
