CF7 Wrong Date Format

    Hello,

    I use CF7 in Version Version 5.0.1 with WordPress 4.9.5:

    Form
    [date* miettag]

    E-Mail
    [miettag]

    I received the date always in the default format 2018-04-27 but i need it in the german format 27.04.2018. What must be changed to received the right format?

    I know this page: https://contactform7.com/date-field/ but it has no working possibility for the problem.
