    Hello all,

I am trying to configure my cform builder to allow visitors to my site to be able to send me an email with their query from the contact form on m site.
I have read and understood that in order to do this it is best practice to use the cform plug in in conjunction with the wp mail smtp plugin.

Cform alone didn’t work anyway, so i installed the wp mail smtp plugin and… it ALMOST works.
if i enter a few details into the contact form on my site, using another email address of mine as the ‘fake customer’ i AM able to receive a confirmation email that my message has been sent, as ‘the customer’.
However, the email account to which i want to send the cform message does not receive the message.
Everything works ok with the test message, done through the settings, i receive the test e-mail ok.
It is only when I send an e-mail through the contact form (cform builder form) that I am unable to receive the message sent from any visitors to my site.
Could anyone please help shed any light on this so that i can actually use the cform builder contact form correctly on my site?
The cform builder is spot on in terms of potential and I would love to be able to put it’s potential into practice.

    Thanks in advance,

    Dear user,

The issue might be associated with the fact that the stated domain does not allow receiving automatically-generated emails believing that those are spam. Please check it out with your hosting provider. Thank you.

Hi, and thanks for your response.

I may be wrong, but I would imagine that, given that the test e-mail sends okay, the spam filters on my e-mail provider (the account is with SmarterMail)should not interfere with the email from the contact form given that the test e-mail sends ok??

Does the test e-mail not come from the same source as the
e-mail generated from the contact form?

I have checked many settings on my SmarterMail email provider including overriding the spam details, yet still to no avail.

I have read on umpteen forums and threads across the internet to find a solution for this problem (there are many people experiencing the same issue)
Some suggest adding a line of code in the appropriate .php file
Others (most) it seems have just given up.

Surely there must be SOME way of getting the form to work??

would it be possible, in your opinion, to be able to receive the auto-generated emails by adding a trusted e-mail?

The email from the contact form I use is received (in the test) as coming from a name which I specified in the plugin (ML Traduction) as opposed to a standard (eg. [email protected]) type address.

Is there any way of finding out the source e-mail s that I could try it and add the auto-genertaed e-mail sender to a trusted list which would hopefully allow the e-mail to be received?

    Hello,

Thankyou for your ongoing support. Much appreciated.

I have sent an e-mail through your own contact form on your website.
