Chaging header image and background color.

    I have been trying everything CSS wise to change the header to my own image and just can’t figure it out.
    I tried with
    #branding {
    background: url(images/my-own.png) no-repeat #fff;
    }
    but its didnt work.

    Also trying to change the background color via CSS but having trouble.

    Would really appreciate some help thanks

    Glad you worked it out.

    Just a heads-up in case anyone comes across this thread later that for most folks, uploading an image in the Customizer’s Header Image section works just fine. A CSS workaround is usually only needed if you need an image that’s quite different from the theme’s standard recommended dimensions.
