championship mode – add matches

hi, i have just updated to 4.1.1 and was excited with the updates, especially to the championship mode.
i am now having problems with adding matches as there are no teams for selection on “add matches”. i have added 2 groups of 8 teams at the preliminary rounds. i am not sure if selecting “home team” at the preference affects anything but i have also selected this for “default” mode and i can add matches without problem. i have also tried manually adding points and “proceed to finals” but still no teams for selection at “add matches”.
did i do anything wrong for championship mode?can i also change the current table format from “Goals | Diff” to “GF | GA | GD” ?
