Change appearance of text, email and text area when clicked in to field

  • Hello,

    I looked through previous posts but wasn’t easily finding my answer. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

    When clicking in to the fields the appearance changes to a blue outline around the field. How do I get rid of this? Either have just the original field border color or allow a new color to present.

    Thank you so much for your quick response.

    After some further investigation and testing it seems this issue seems to be browser related. The issue is presenting in Firefox on PC and Safari on MAC. But using Opera and Chrome on PC the border changes to black. Also I get different results on an Android phone (border changes to orange).

    I use contact 7 on my own site and all client sites I build and I can’t recall ever seeing this happen.

    I have been through the entire stylesheet for this theme and do not easily see anything relating to text, email or textarea on focus to explain the change in border presentation.

    For plugins that relate to contact 7:
    Column Shortcodes
    Conditional Fields for Contact Form 7
    Deactivating does not have any effect.

    I have also reviewed the stylesheets for contact 7 and these 2 plugins and don’t see any code that affects.

    Also using Classic Editor.

    Other plugins do not have form capabilities within them.

    I will continue to try and resolve this on my own however if you have any suggestions that would be so greatly appreciated.
