Change Author Biographical Information

  • I am interested in altering the Biographical information on my WordPress profile and in the space for Biographical information in the ABOUT AUTHOR section of the homepage on the website that is below.

    I have logged in and typed in updated Biographical information in the Biographical Info section of my profile on WordPress.com, and have clicked Update Profile at the bottom of the page. Despite these things, Biographical information does not change in the About Author section on the site that is above.

    Would you help me acquire information that would help enable me to alter Biographical information on my profile for WordPress.com, and in the ABOUT AUTHOR section of the homepage of the website mentioned above?

    To whomever might respond to the message that is above,

    Evidently, and as of moments after posting the message that is above, I noticed that Biographical information of me, the author of the blog entry that is on the website with which I needed help, and that is listed below, has updated and has revealed Biographical information about me that I want to be revealed, and that is timely.

    Despite these things, I yet do not know how Biographical information in the ABOUT AUTHOR section has updated. Anyone who knows how the Biographical information updated, and/or how I might update Biographical information about me on the website with which I needed help, and that is listed below, in the future is welcome to respond to this message or the message that I first posted, and that is above. I welcome all relevant information.

    Hi Justin,
    From looking at your site’s source code, I believe that bio info is coming from a widget on the sidebar. Check under “Appearance > Widgets” and there should be a widget on the sidebar section that contains your info. Hope that helps!

    Thank you for your message. Indeed, an examination of ‘Appearance > Widgets’ may prove fruitful. I certainly will give it a try. Hopefully, this results in my being able to change Author Biographical information on my website.
