Change author from within post

  • Hi All,

    this may be a bit of a newbie question but I am struggling!

    I have an existing WordPress blog where i can change the post author from within a post.

    I have just taken on a new blog and for some reason I cannot find this option other than in the ‘bulk edit’ option. Any ideas?

  • Hi ross88guy,

    I was testing this for you, and was able to figure it out. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

    1. Find the option that says “Screen Options” at the top right of the page (on the edit post page)
    2. Ensure “Author” is selected

    That should do it! Let us know if not.
