Change background color of header

  • Hi WP Community,

    I have a child theme of 2011 set up and am trying to change the background color of my header/title block. I know where the header part of the css file is and can change the color of the text itself, but am not sure how to change the background color. Ideally I’d like to have a color gradient and all that. I’ve done that for the menu but copy pasting doesn’t seem to work.

    I’d appreciate your help!
