Change Background Pictures Twenty Seventeen

  • hello,

    i’d like to change the background pictures in the twenty seventeen theme:
    How can i exchange the plant, the espresse etc. with other pictures?

    Hey @hubim – great question ?? The way that theme is set up handles those images in a couple of different places.

    Main Image at top
    The main image at the top (the Header Image) can be changed by opening the Customizer (Appearance > Customize in your admin menu) and then going to the ‘Header Media’ section where you can upload a new image.

    Other Background Image
    Each of the other panels has content generated from certain pages within your site. You can select the specific pages also within the Customizer – but from the ‘Theme Options’ section.

    For each page that is selected there – the theme will take the content and the Featured Image to be used.

    This means that you can change those images by going to edit each specific page, and changing the Featured Image.
