• Hello,

    I have spent the afternoon trying to change the background image on my WordPress site and thought it was time to ask for help. I would like the white header in my logo to match the rest of the background which is currently off-white: https://correctivebalance.co

    I understand that the theme (HealthDaily) is pointing to a default image, but I cannot figure out how to get to the image:

    body {
    background: #ffffff url(‘images/background.jpg’) center top no-repeat fixed;
    color: #555555;
    }

    I am using GoDaddy Hosted WordPress. Any help you can provide me with would be great!

    Thank you.

  • Let me make sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish.

    You want to change the green color that is currently the background to a white color (#ffffff), is that correct? Is the rule that you’ve posted above how you are trying to accomplish that? When I look for the file https://correctivebalance.co/images/background.jpg, I get a “File not found” error.

    Hi CrouchingBruin,

    I’m sorry, I should have been more specific. I guess it’s not technically the background because you are correct; the green color is the background. I’m hoping to change the color of the off-white background on top of the green. Right now, the white logo and that off-white do not look as professional as I would like it to look.

    I just logged into my FTP and found the background, but am not able to download it so I’m not sure the best way to continue. I am wondering if I should delete the file and then upload a new one?

    Looks like you were able to edit the header image with a fill tool, except you missed the spots inside the letters which have enclosed areas (the B, A, O, and R).
