Howdy! I’m going to explain somethings to you, manythings, and close this topic. It’s not productive because you’ve gone from seeking volunteer help (good) to talking smack to moderators (not good at all).
I’ve archived your latest reply and one of your other replies too. It’s still there but it can only be seen by a moderator. You’re lack of civility isn’t appropriate here and that’s not how you deal with volunteers. Everyone here, including yourself and all of the moderators are volunteers doing support on their own time for free.
I’ve also flagged your account for moderation watch.
https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#being-mod-watched-or-banned
That means all of your posts and replies on this site will need to be approved by a moderator before it becomes public. When you have demonstrated sufficiently that you can interact with others in a civil manner then the flag will be reconsidered.
This forums work publicly. If you do not want to post a link then that’s fine but we’re not going to be able to help you as easily as if you can share a link to your site.
Following people who do reply to you and contacting them on their site for support? Please don’t do that again. Your account will go from being flagged to being banned. That’s inappropriate and has resulted in volunteers here being harassed by a extremely small percentage of users here. It hardly ever happens but when it does, it’s harassment and that’s not cool.
Too often people here feel entitled to support from volunteers. That’s not how support works here; no one is entitled to anything from anyone. It works too and many people are helped here.
Then why is the contact information in peoples’ profiles? If we’re not supposed to use it then people shouldn’t be posting it and the website shouldn’t even have a way to do that.
Because most of the times users here a civil and visiting a user’s site is done out of interest. That’s all. But following someone to their site for support? That will get you are reply of this sort which you’d received.
if you attempted to contact Geoffrey directly via his own website, please don’t. What happens in the forums stays in the forums. Do not contact folks off-forum. See https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/forum-welcome/?view=all#contacting-the-moderators
Your next couple of replies after that? That’s why this topic is closed. That’s inappropriate and not long tolerated.
If you wish, please post a new support topic. Leave the snark and commentary out of it and it will be approved. You can start over again and try anew.
If you do start a new topic for the Twenty Seventeen theme and don’t want to or cannot share a link to your site then consider using this link from WordPress as an example.
https://wp-themes.com/twentyseventeen/
If you can explain what you want using that URL then that should help others sort out your problem.
I’m now closing this topic.
