Change captcha from image to text

Dear all,
I would like to change the captcha type from using image (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9bSYFtfgBq5RXhBQ2VRWkZ4ZjA/view?usp=sharing) to type text only (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9bSYFtfgBq5QW52RGhVYjl3dm8/view?usp=sharing).
My boss doesnt like the what captcha using image to verify. Are there any ways to do this? Please help.
