Change “card” slug to something else

    I’d love to change the /card/ slug to something else, make it a bit more flexible. Perhaps I missed a setting…or perhaps this is on the drawing board? Anyway for me to pull this off now on my site without blowing a bunch of stuff up?

    Hey Greg – it’s definitely on the roadmap for us to make that an option. At the moment the slug is set when the custom post type is registered – so it is pretty set.

    It’s something I’ll open up though – just need to make some infrstructure changes.

    It looks like you can do a rewrite (as suggested by this article – https://fantastech.co/rewrite-slugs-custom-post-types-taxonomies-wordpress/) but I haven’t tried it so can’t speak to how well it works.

    Thanks Jordan, this will be very helpful overall for sure. I tried to use the rewrite option outlined in that link but it didn’t work…meaning, I likely didn’t do it correctly.

    Ah – sorry about that greg. url rewriting is notoriously tricky – so there’s plenty of moving parts that could have gone wrong (or needed to be approached differently to the article).

    Will keep you posted on when we get it editable through the plugin ??
