Change Color for Genesis eNews Extended Banner

Hello. I successfully installed the eNews Extended plug-in and placed the widget in my side bar. It works beautifully with MailChimp and also the color matches the color changes that I made in the CSS Stylsheet. You can see it here: https://blog.blockdot.com

However, I also want the plugin/widget to be active as the newsletter banner across the top of the Home Page. The widget works, but I can’t figure out how to change the orange color. For some reason the plug-in/widget is not picking up on the changed orange color from the CSS for the banner like it is for the sidebar widget. Can you help?
