Change Color of error message

Hi @jjcstudios,

If you are comfortable with CSS, I recommend adding a class ( form field > Display > Custom Class Names > Element ) to that field and targeting the class or targeting the required field class ( down below ) and adding your style that way.

For example, see:

 .nf-form-fields-required {
     // text-color: #fff; White
      text-color: #000; 

   }

When I add this code .nf-form-fields-required { color: #000; } I am getting a error message

HTML classes only allow – _ and alphanumeric characters.

also how do you remove the exclamation point when you get the required message

Hey there,

To change the error message color from red to black, please try the following CSS code in your child theme style.css file or in the Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS section.

.nf-error-required-error { color: #000 !important; }

If you don’t have a child theme or you’re using a block theme, then try the Simple CSS plugin from here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/simple-css/.
