Change color of post title?

Im using the fluxipress theme, and i like it very much, however I’m having a hard time changing the color of the post title (showing on the frontpage).
I want the title to be orange, and then change to white when hovering. Right now its black(ish) like the excerpt and changes white when hovered. I tried changing the h2 tag (which i know the title is in) to orange in the css, but then nothing happens when i hover it – the title stays orange.
A funny thing is, that my “read more” “button” is the right color, and does change to white when hovered.
Can someone please help me ??
