• I’m trying to figure out which code I need to edit to change the colors for the Flexslider navigation bars and arrows. I managed to change the hover color and the background color of the navigation bars, but not the ‘active’ color.

    For the arrows, I wasn’t able to change their color at all. I don’t have a problem leaving them both the way they are, but I am curious how I would go about changing these settings in the future if needed.

    Thanks!

  • Hi AZBros. Give this a try:

    /* change slider active slide bar to red */
    #flexslider-featured .flex-control-nav li a.flex-active {
        background: #f00;
    }

    /* change slider arrows to red */
    #flexslider-featured .flex-direction-nav a {
        color: #f00;
    }

    The one to change the arrow color worked, but the other one did not. It’s still the default color.

    Interesting. I plugged that code into the theme demo and it works fine. Can you copy a few lines above and below that section in your custom css and paste it here?

    To test it, I just deleted everything except those two pieces of code from my child theme’s style.css and the active slider bar remained the default color (the Primary Color I have set in the customization menu).

    Then there’s something else going on. Hard to tell if your site isn’t public so we can see it.

    It’s okay the way it is for now. I would like the option to change it in the future, so I’ll be sure to post a link when I publish it officially. Once again, I’m sure it’s a minor thing that I’m overlooking (or a minor mistake I made and didn’t realize it).
