Change colors on PIlcrow theme

Hi, I hope you can help me.

I am using a Pilcrow Child theme on my site https://www.lisakaborycha.com and thinking of changing the colors.

I originally chose a dark background with white letters because I primarily created my site to show images, which show best against a dark background.I still really like the brown and ochre tones, but now I have a lot more text and I think it is tiring to the eyes to look at bright lettering.

Do you have any suggestions on how I can alter this? Can I experiment with the colors before permanently making a change?
