Hi, I’ve been searching all afternoon to no avail… I’d like to change the email address that receives notifications of new comments posted. Currently I am the only admin and would like to keep my email address associated with admin. My clients are set up as Editor and I have granted them permission to moderate comments; however, they are not notified about new comments. I don’t want them to have to log in to the site daily (that’s annoying).

How can I maintain control of the administrator email while changing the comment notifications to go to my clients address? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the search results… I already mentioned that I have been searching all afternoon. I don’t see a plugin that will simply input a single email address as the notification. I don’t want to be notified. I only want my client to be notified. The problem lies in that I as the admin am the current author so most of these plugins that notify author will still be notifying me as the admin instead of my client. Anyone else have a more specific idea? Thanks again.

Bump, anyone have this figured out and can point me in the right direction? Searching for plugins hasn’t gotten me where I want to be. Would changing the author of the original pages and posts on the website help? I don’t think it’s proper to write posts on behalf of a client unless instructed to do so.

I ended up using “Comment Moderation E-mail to Post Author” plugin and the workaround for this was to change the author for all posts and pages from Admin to one of the other users who wants to receive the notifications. This works but it is not convenient to do every time the admin creates a new post or page on the site. Still interested in a new plugin that simply allows the admin to enter a specific email address for all notifications to be sent.

Why not just create the posts under an Author user instead of always under the Admin user?

@quentin, I do change all pages and posts to my client username after the site is live. You still need a plugin like “Comment Moderation E-mail to Post Author” to get the email notifications to go to to the author and not Admin.

    So,
have you found the solution ???
Can you share your solution ?? ??

It’s in the post above. I used “Comment Moderation E-Mail to Post Author”.

I used comments Notifier, that worked as well !
    Thanks
