Change copyright text

    I’m using the free Kale theme so at the bottom of my blog I’m seeing this

    Copyright ? 2020 Kale
    Kale by LyraThemes.com.

    I create my own content so why should they have the copryright? I will leave “Kale by LyraThemes.com” but need to change the copyright to me. However I dont see the option to change this anywhere in WP. I’m also a beginner so can someone please help? Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching support.

    You can change the text from your customize settings and hide the ‘Kale by..’ with this code

    ul.credit { display:none; }

    Add this code in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS

    Thanks but that’s not what I wanted. I need to change the copyright from Kale to my blog name because you dont own my content

    Copyright ? 2020 Kale needs to be Copyright ? 2020 Myblog

    Please try to use the ‘Footer Last’ sidebar and the ‘text widget’ to add your information.
