    Hi there!
In Sela, emphasized or italic text becomes bold too and I don’t like that. I tried to fix it using custom CSS but that doesn’t seem to work. Any idea how to give “em” and “i” texts a normal font weight? Thanks in advance!

Hi there, it would help a lot if you could point me to a URL where this is happening, and are you talking about the text that the theme itself italicizes, or are you talking about when you add italic to the post or page content?

Ah, wait, I found one. It is the style of the actual font being used, not a CSS setting. The Lato font has a wider stroke for italic fonts. You would have to switch to another font, or look and see if Lato has a “light” italic variant.

Thanks a lot. I didn’t realise this had to do with the font I was using. What a timesaver!

    Problem resolved. ??

Yeah, I was looking everywhere for the setting and then realized it was the font itself. Go figure. ??
