Change default comment 'Leave a Comment' above box.

Change this line (comments.php) and see if it works:

<h4 class="comments-write-link"><a href="#respond"><?php _e('Leave a comment','priimo'); ?></a></h4>

Better create a child theme and make changes so that updating themes will not affect your customizations.

Never heard of child-themes, but can’t wait to start using them. Such an excellent piece of advice. Thanks so much Krishna.

The function is in the comments.php priimo style sheet, but wordpress seems to be using a different file. I looked in the prior theme’s (atahualpa332) comments.php file and it is the same. Can’t find the text that the site is currently using (did a search in text editor). Apparently, atahualpa332 has it tucked in somewhere else!

Anyway, Instead of showing ‘Leave a comment’ as the code indicates, (in priimo’s comments.php file) my site shows ‘Enter your comment here…’

Just in case, I tried changing the line ‘Leave a comment’ in the priimo comments.php file and the change was not reflected in my site after applying the change…

This is helpful, however, what I wanted to change was the text above the actual comments entry box. I think the answer will be similar though.

(if you refer to the site linked to your username, this using priimo and is showing ‘What are your thoughts on this?’ above the comment input)
