Change default language

  • Hello, I thought I changed the default language by going to languages and assigning the “star” to my English language. However, when people type in my site in the address bar it takes them to the Spanish version. How can I change that?

  • Have you check that “Detect the browser preferred language” is deactivated?

    Hi! Plugin is good. But the last time I’ve problems with default language too ( And what is interesting – only in FF (last version). The matter is as following – (I’ve been working with Polylang since 2015, therefore – are you disabled browser preferences, stars and so on > everything is done as required) Default language – RU, settings correct and… Chrome, Opera shows correct default language, not looking at browser preferences (right, they are disabled), but not FF ! If FF set as RU – it displays RU default, if EN – EN default … Sure – I do not understand what is going on. You can check this behavior here:

    Now everithing is set to default RU, but the page displays rus/en. And should rus/ru (only in FF…)

    Help, please if possible…
