Change defaults in SM “Add New” post template.

    I am wondering if it is possible to change the default values presented when clicking on the “Add New” function within Sermon Manager. When I go to add a new sermon each week, I have to remember to uncheck the enable comments button because we do not want the comment function turned on. By default, this box is always checked. I would like to be able to set the default to be unchecked.

    Any ideas?

  • In the Dashboard Settings (not the Sermon Settings), go to “Discussion” and turn off (uncheck) the “Allow people to submit comments on new posts”.

    Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I would have sworn that I had already turned that off a long time ago. Apparently not. Thanks again.
