change editing mode from advanced to basic

  • Hi,
    I’m not very familiar with wordpress and am using it to update my website. When I logged on today the editing mode I use to edit my posts had changed from basic to advanced mode and I have no idea of how to change it back. If anyone knows, please let me know

  • I’d like to help… just have no idea what do you call “advanced” and/or “basic”.

    If you mean the wysiwyg thing and the code editing: don’t you have a “Visual” and a “Code” tab above your posting area?

    You can turn on/off the “visual” gizmo by going:
    admin – Users – Your profile
