Change email value field

Is there any way to change the email value field? I have developed a plugin that takes the WP-Members data and pushes it to Salesforce. The only field that is not working is email. This is because in Salesforce, the value is ’email’ and in WP-Members the value is ‘user_email’.

I’ve already tried updating all ‘user_email’ to say just ’email’ but that doesn’t seem to be working.
