Change Error Messages

    Hi and thank you to anyone (or everyone) who responds to my inquiry.

    I’m looking to customize the warning/error messages that users receive when they insert the wrong password, lost their password, etc.

    For example, if a user types in the wrong password when trying to log into their WooCommerce customer account, they receive the following message:

    “ERROR: The password you entered for the username [email protected] is incorrect. Lost your password?“

    I’m looking to change some of the context of these messages but I can’t find them. The messages don’t appear within the localization files or in any other files/directories (from what I can tell).

    Would anyone have any additional details as to how I can edit the warning/error messages?
