Change Excerpt Layout

    Hi

    Just started using the plugin, absolutely brilliant, best one I’ve found. I’m in the process and just looking at maybe changing the way the excerpt looks with a featured image on. Where would I be able to do that, what file would I need to edit?

    I’ve had a look around and can’t find anything. I’d like to move the featured image to the top or bottom of the post instead of next to it, and also increase the text length on the excerpt so more of the post can be read in the email.

  • Hi ther mate,

    E-mail class holds the prep HTML for digest e-mails. It’s done using HTML class. The file is called Email.php and it’s on line 292.

    public function getPostDigestBody($post)

    You’ll see what to change easily.
