Change "FOLLOW US" Text

  • Hello – I absolutely love this widget. Classy, functional, and powerful.

    Is there a way, however, to remove the “FOLLOW US” text that appears above the icons? Or, since I am not a company :), to change it to “FOLLOW ME”? If so, that’d be great.

    And forgive me if this has been asked already. I did look at all question titles and didn’t see this directly. Thanks so much, Adam

  • If you’re talking about the widget, there’s a setting for the Title that you can change.

    Yes, I was talking about the widget. Hmmmm, I went through the Settings about three times looking a way to change the title. Couldn’t find it. I’ll look again. If you are able to point it out in some way, that’d be great… Sorry… I’m pretty new at all this.

    To be clear, I see each icon has a “title” customization option for both Share and Follow… but I am talking about the “Follow Us” text that appears (printed) above all the icons in the widget.

    If you’re talking about the actual widget, the one you add under Appearance -> Widgets, then the settings displayed in the widget box contain 1 for the title… You are looking instead at the settings page for the plugin itself which is under Settings -> Social Media.

    I would like to remove the title completely or at least prevent it form being shwon when i hover over with my mouse. Is this also possible without using and modifying a child theme?

    Ah! I was able to change “Follow Us to “Follow Jodie.” Easy! Thanks!
