Change font and icon colors

First of all I wanted to say that this plugin looks and works wonderfully! Thank you for all your hard work. I am a very occasional website designer and it’s much appreciated.

If you look on the website, you can see that the colors on the events are a little on the dark side. My customizer did not include an Events option. If anyone can help me with the css, I can add it into additional css (I’m assuming that’s what I need to do.)
