• Hi All,

I’m a newbie using the Tesseract theme. I’m making a simple localhost web site using WP on top of WAMP. When I look at a post…

    https://localhost/wp2/index.php/2015/06/06/amma-post-02/

…I can change the font color. When I go to the Posts page…

    https://localhost/wp2/index.php/updates-2/

…I can’t see any way to change the font color. I looked for an edit change Posts page font plugin but didn’t find any.

How can I change the font color on my Posts page? Even better, how can I change the font size also? Do I need to attach some pics so you can can see what’s going on? Thanks,

  • The links to your work do not work.

If you can link to a live site it is better.

Having said that, you might get a quicker response to your question from the theme developer.

Hello martcol, I did send the question to the theme developer, hopefully he’ll respond soon. I also posted the q here in case there’s a simple answer independent of the theme. I don’t have a live site yet. I’m just learning the basics of WP using localhost.

If you’re not using a Child Theme, and if the theme doesn’t have a designated section of the dashboard for CSS modifications then install this Custom CSS Manager plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/custom-css-manager-plugin

Then use its “CSS Code” section of the dashboard to hold your CSS modifications

Alternatively use your Child Theme style.css file to hold your CSS modifications
