Change Font Color on Certain Words

I assume the Theme is overriding any attempt to change the color of text within the post body, and I would like to know if there is any way to achieve this.

For example, if I want to write:

“This is a RED HOT deal that shouldn’t be missed” with the words “RED HOT” in Red (or any other color I choose) this does not seem to be possible under ColorMag as the theme seems to force color #444444 no matter what I choose through WP or using HTML.

I try the resulting code in HTML testers and it works perfectly, so I know it’s the theme doing it, so any help would be appreciated.
