Using the Total theme and Footer Mega Grid Widget. I would like to change the background color of the widget area of the footer in the style.css file. I know how to change the Footer Bottom background color (Appearance > Customize > Footer Bottom), but Appearance > Customize > Footer Widgets does not provide a way to change any colors. What is the class name? I can’t find it in the css file. I’ve tried adding .fmgc- etc.etc . also .footer-mega-col-wrap. Can’t find it in the css. Thank you.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Also, I tried adding .site-footer{background:#newcolor !important} to Additional CSS to override the Total theme footer color, but there was no change. Does the change take immediate affect, or is there a lag time?

SOLVED. There is more than one place to add custom CSS in WordPress and some older code was overriding my changes. Never mind. ??
