Change from WPML to Polylang caused problems with media library

  • Dear support,

    After switching from a completely outdated free WPML version to Polylang, the files in the media library get no longer found (No media was found).

    When I deactivate Polylang, the library is displayed again correctly.

    Is there any solution for this? I wouldn’t like to switch back to WPML.

  • Try this: In your WP admin panel go to: Languages > Settings and disable the translations for Media.

    Now, before I upload the backup with the WPML plugin again, I wanted to ask one more time if there is any other solution than just turning off this feature?
