Change header height in Twenty Thirteen

Hi there,

I want to change the header height to 300px. I read a few of the posts on how to change header height but they were missing some answers so I decided to post my own thread.

This person’s tips didn’t help me, as you can see I posted a question below https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-change-twenty-thirteen-header-image-height?replies=7.

This tread also didn’t help, because the ‘helper’ says that the functions.php file should be empty, but when I read the codex, WP says that funcitons.php in the child theme is loaded in addition to the funcitons.php file in the theme it self.

I tried another method that was listed in the same thread (the second one above) and that didn’t work as well.

Help?
