change image on color attribute change

    Hi,
    I am trying to setup a shop with products which has both color and size as variables.
    When I add images to variations, the image changes only when color and size is selected.
    is it possible to have the image change when only color attribute is changed and size attribute not selected?

  • Not using the core WooCommerce plugin.

    Have you considered a “swatch” plugin?

    There are several to try. These don’t change the product image, but the user gets a series of buttons with the available colours on them.

    @lorro , yes i am using the swatches free plugin. it doesn’t change the image unless the size is selected

    No these won’t change the product image, but the customer can see the colour they are selecting.

    it doesnt change the image unless i select both. seems like the feature is only available in Pro version
