Gosh David, I don’t think I ever knew I needed a plugin to do this! So the answer is – none. Any suggestions?

Are you referring to the Facebook share button at the bottom of the posts? In which case either your theme or a plugin is adding this feature (it’s not standard with WordPress).

I can see you’re using Twenty Fourteen and, that I’m aware, this doesn’t have the share features so, we’re back to a potential plugin.

Looking again… yep, there it is. You’re using O3 Social Share plugin to add this. That’s the good news. The bad news…

Looks like this may have been abandoned, which might explain why features are no longer working. My recommendation would be to look for a replacement plugin to do this for you.

Thanks. But Actually, no, I’m not using that. I relying on the “Publicize” feature within the WordPress setup for creating a post. At the right, under “PUblish”, I have set it up to post directly to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. In days gone by, it would always show up there with the first image in the post.

Okay, I know which one you mean now – Publicize will automatically send your post details to social sites. I use the same myself. but it’s sending the correct images.

It’s part of the Jetpack plugin so I’d suggest asking the question on their forum… https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/jetpack

However, someone else has already had the same issue recently and the advice they got may be of use to you…
